Jenn's Baby Shower ~The French Circus~

What a beautiful day we had celebrating Jenn & Jason's bundle of BOY that should arrive any day!!! Mom & Cindy helped with the food and Sis Bohannon & Ashley decorated such a BEAUTIFUL cake!!! (Bro Bohannon actually rolled out the fondant though=) Ashley did some really fun games, I must say, the Nursery Rhymes were my favorite!!! I think Jenn is just about set with items for Chandler Blake!! Now ALL we need is baby!

Ireland receives the gift of the Holy Ghost!!!

Today in church we were having a shouting Apostolic service, I was on the piano so Ireland was sitting with Nina (Jenn). Jenn is about due with the baby and has been put on bed rest, so Ireland turned to her during church and said, "Nina, I know you can't run, but can you walk with me? 'Cause I'm gonna get the Holy Ghost today!" So they walked around a few times and then went to the alter, sure enough, she got it!!! SO Beautiful!!! Nothing, NOTHING like having ALL your children filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost!

2 years ago today we lost (Heaven's Choir gained) the most AMAZING Alto that has ever sung on this earth. Anna, you were an AWESOME young person and LOVED God with all your heart. Your memory lives on and continues to make an IMPACT on those who knew you. We thank God you were a part of our lives. We love you and miss you!!!

Miss Ireland

This was about a year ago when she was 4 yrs old. She loved this Christmas song, learned the books of the Bible and sang it in church with Catalyn & Luke and then learned some of their Bible quizzing verses. Kids are like sponges, your gonna get out of them what you put into them. Whatever you surround your kids with, that is is what they are going to absorb and become.

Delay in homecoming

~Due to this crazy East Coast weather, we are having to wait another WHOLE day to see our favorite guy in the entire world! Yes, New York airport is completely out of the question at this point. Stephen's flight has been rerouted through Amsterdam to LA and THEN home!!! So now it will be 12 loooonnngggg days since we've seen our AMAZING daddy!!! Thankfully the kids have off school for a few days so we can spend some family time together~

Catalyn is having a sleep over and got this brilliant idea to make cookies to sell for girls club at church tomorrow. Final score after 2hours in the kitchen:
~8 bags of Kettle Corn
~15 pkgs dbl chocolate chip cookies
~8 pkgs chocolate popcorn balls
Of course, this is AFTER our deductions!!!

Call from Africa~

Things are going well over in Ghana as far as the services go. Stephen preached on Thursday morning and reported that it was a great turn out. He was able to meet the Tribal Chief for that area and got some pics. (I will post when he sends) Bro Walker got really ill and is on his way back to the states, please keep him in prayer. Also, the crusades started tonight and will be going through Wednesday night, so please keep those in prayer too. He said there was about 300 there tonight. Stephen is heading tomorrow morning 2 1/2 hrs away to preach at one of the AG Pastors church and then back to preach the crusade tomorrow night. He said it was so neat, some of the men there drove 2 1/2 hrs to present them with these really nice shirts this morning to honor them. 5 more busy days.....

~News from Africa~

No new pics from Saltpond, Ghana yet, Stephen did call though and said the internet signal is so weak he can't get on to send pics. He will send pics probably Saturday when he gets back to Accra, Ghana. They have had 3 services so far preaching at the AG (Assembly of God) Pastors Conference. Stephen preached this morning at their AG Ordination service and their Gen. Secretary for the Ghana AG was going to be there. Praying that God speaks to the hearts of these people and that Truth would be revealed. He said it is really hot but is excited about what is happening over there.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, me and the kids are doing just fine except my head is spinning trying to keep up with everything that normally two people do! =) Luke just learned about an Ostrich how it runs so fast that it finally stops and waits for itself to catch up (with it's head buried in the sand). This weekend maybe I'll catch up to myself!!! LOL

Stephen's off to Ghana...

So, I tried to have him pack me in a suitcase so I could go too, however, he didn't think I would enjoy the ride. So instead me and the kids got up at 3:30AM and dropped him off at the San Diego Airport, came home and they crashed for about an hour. Then it's time for school! 10 looonnggg days without Daddy...
