Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to 2 very important Dad's in my life. The Daddy of my 3 beautiful gifts from God and my Dad. So thankful for them in my life. Happy Father's Day!!!

15 Years of Wedded Bliss!!

Stephen & I went to Ireland and Paris, France for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, which was June 8th, a few weeks ago. We enjoyed 12 wonderful and relaxing days together seeing all the beautiful sights in Europe. I must say, we enjoyed Ireland the most. It was so much fun to explore these two places with my best friend and love of my life! We ended up going to Ireland the same time as the Queen and President Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama. It was interesting and kinda neat being there the same time as them. The food in Ireland is very good and filling. Shepherds Pie, Lambs Stew, Fish & Chips....mmmmmm!!! We went to Paris for 5 of our 12 days. We went up to the top of La tour Eiffel the first night. YIKES!! I was reeaalllyy scared!! I am not a fan of heights. However, the sights were unbelievable!! We did all the sights the first 3 days, we were moving it! The last 2 days we were able to shop and enjoy just getting "lost" in Paris!! That was fun. The food is not as good in Paris, however, the pastries & coffee are so very delicious!!! I believe this is where these extra pounds came on me. I don't know HOW it happened with all the walking in Paris we did. We walked probably 8-10 miles a day. My feet were burning every day when we would return to the hotel. Next time I promised myself I would buy expensive ugly shoes for my poor feet!

Waterford Castle where we stayed one night. The Castle is on an Island in Waterford, Ireland which is the oldest City in Ireland. The Castle and the grounds were stunning!! Stephen played 9 holes of golf the next morning on the island. I went with him, but on the 7th hole it began to rain so I made a b-line for the club house....leaving my poor husband in the driving rain. Guess I don't have the true golfing spirit, sorry babe. =) Maybe someday I will.

Happy 40th Birthday to my beautiful sister-n-law!! Franny, hope your day is as special as you are. We love you so very much!!

6th Grade Graduation

We are so very proud of our daughter. Not only does she love God and live for Him with everything she's got, but today she made us proud in her achievements academically. Today she graduated from 6th Grade and received Principal's Honor Roll. This means she received straight A's all year!! She also delivered a wonderful speech and did so very well. Way to go CATALYN!!! We love you and are going to be there every step of the way to help you become what God wants you to become and to help you fulfill the desires and dreams of your heart.
